Harvey

Susan completed her honours year in population genetics in 2007. Her interest in biosecurity developed when she was working for the Queensland Department of Primary Industries in invasive plant and animal research before she started her PhD. This project combines Susan's interest in the areas of evolutionary genetics and pest management.

Susan also has an interest in sustainable transport and is involved in a car sharing group in Brisbane. She is a keen cyclist who loves to ride her bike everywhere. Susan gained some valuable life experiences while travelling through China, Thailand and India in 2005.
